I have a SupraFAXModem 288 which has been flashed to v1.440-25-V34_DS and 
since I flashed that ROM in, it has not recognized a RING, it does not report 
the caller ID string, but everything else works okay...
There has been no lightning in the area, and I do not think a surge took out 
the modem since it does dial, detects carrier, and performs as normal except 
for the RING.
I have tried flashing the modem again, and still no luck.
Am I going to have to send this thing in?  It is no longer under waranty and 
I just don't have the $$$ to replace or repair it.
Please someone, tell me that a simple AT&F2&w&w0 will fix it (I have tried 
that btw:)
