Hello, Holger.

There was a nice article about the record-setting number of licensed hams
in the US in the news recently. A lot of them, however, are moving on to
HF. VHF here is dead also in my area. Except for a bunch of hams that
ragchew on a local linked repeater set, it's dead.

Speaking of repeater, I'm being given a working GE Master II
"rackmount" 2 meter repeater. I guess if I ever move where every
band pair isn't taken, maybe I'll just toss up a J-pole on a tower and have
my own little 2 meter repeater. :P

Later,
Sean
