subject: Gas Prices vs. Mileage

TA>JH> TA> Not that I have heard. But we did have one Ford Service Manager
TA>JH> TA> advise our Seniors group that a tank of high test every now and
TA>JH> TA> then was more helpful cleaning the fuel injectors than any thing
TA>JH> TA> one could buy of the shelf.

TA>JH>I wonder what is the diff? Does the high test blend include more
TA>JH>additives which can help clean the injectors?

TA>The Service Manager said it did. Tom says no. (Flip your coin 8-)

Make that "TOM" and an a lot of Car Magazine Testing reports
"says NO".
Even Consumers Reports says that Using a HIGHER grade of gas then is
listed in the Owners Manual is a WASTE of Money and Buys you NOTHING.
