Sounds like the system's bios doesn't support the CD booting method
that eCS 1.1, eCS 1.2 & Win2k use. eCS 1.0 used the floppy CD boot
method to boot CD's that Win9x also used, but isn't supported or
tested well on many newer systems.
A BIOS update may help - other than that - floppy boot may be the only
solution.
