	I guess that Alan is not employed outside his home when Linda might be.
Alan can chose when he needs to drive, dry and sunny conditions. I would
too but there is a law here in QB that mandates snow treads from 15-12 to
15-03 or so. My summer tyres are more "aggresive" than the winter
ones, the rubber is different, I have not seen any advantage yet except in
the wallet. ;-)
