The Aircraft loaded by Robert Smith and others of the First Air
Transport Unit takes off for Albuquerque. These crates will eventually
reach Los Alamos. All the crates are marked with stencils saying Top
Secret. ( Randle & Schmitt, 1994. p. 170.)

Later that afternoon a flight crew on the skeet range is told they
have s special flight coming up & to Prepare. They quickly preflight
their aircraft and taxi out to the bomb pit. A sealed, unmarked wooden
crate is brought out and loaded into the bomb bay of B-29, tail number
7301. Six armed MPs guard it, never allowing it out of their sight.
At Ft. Worth the crate is unloaded, after being greeted by a number
of officers including a base mortician known to the bombadier.
Afterwards, Jesse Marcel is driven out to the aircraft & sent back to
Roswell. No debriefing is given on this flight.
It now appears to have been a diversion. The bodies had already been
sent to Andrews. ( Randle & Schmitt., Ibid 170-171.)
Note: Or could it have been the long rumored 5th body, the one that
was reported to be initially alive on the impact site?)
