ML> TJM> June 11, 2002. ML> ML> excellent TJ! is the above date the date that this was posted in this echo? No ... that's the date I quit pulling out my hair with COM/IP. ;) Boy, I miss OS/2 ... got WARP 4 still sitting here in the box, but you know those women, OS/2? What's that. I SWEAR I should just build another PC and tell her to stay off the BBS one. ;) ML> hehehe, i don't really know why that's necessary... my stuff is /STILL/ ML> running on Warp 3 Connect with FP40 applied and /nothing/ else... i do have ML> Warp 4 here but just haven't installed it on anything as of yet... maybe on ML> day... I was playing with getting WARP 4 to install here before I loaded winblows, and the updated "install disks" would lockup on boot, but the originals worked fine, BUT didn't support anything over 8 gig (I think it was), so I couldn't do anything with the drive. Sigh. So Windows went in and there was life. I got a copy of WARP4 from COMPUSA.COM when they had a pricing error. Got it for $1.88 (Came to like 5 bucks with 2nd day air shipping. ) ... ML> hopefully this is what PL needed to get his setup working... I hope so ... I sometimes get tired of being the "problem solver" ahhahahahaha ... later! --- Renegade vY2Ka2* Origin: The Titantic BBS Telnet - ttb.slyip.com (1:129/305) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 129/305 379/1 106/1 2000 633/267 |
