Hey Dieter, "8" hex is the same as "8" decimal. BTW,
wasn't Brenton meant to have set this up for you, or was it Bob he set it
up for? Anyway, I can't remember what area you were trying to put those
messages in, but you didn't have access to AUST_AVTECH until just now.
That's what Areafix is for. But you've got to send your Areafix requests
from your point address!

Anyway, I haven't actually seen Brenton's creation yet, but I assume it is
a straight MSDOS batch file. So if you switch echo on, I want to know
exactly what it is that is being passed to "QWK2PKT", because
that is the only place this could go wrong. If there was a problem with
the hex numbers, you wouldn't have been able to connect to my system in the
first place. Now I suspect you have BOTH parameters to QWK2PKT as
3:711/934{at}fidonet, instead of having one of them as 3:711/934.8{at}fidonet.

Brenton should have documented it, and I suspect he probably has. You've
probably gone and done a Bill, "I'm to good for these stupid doco
files".

BTW, Brenton, I'm still waiting for you to tell me what's wrong with
PQWK195. I'm also still seeing messages from you with PQWK195 as the
mailprocessor! There was certainly enough things missing from PVERT, eh?
I'm not sure what he used it for, if anything. I commented in NET_DEV that
SEEN-BY's were missing, and he basically told me off, that they weren't
really required anyway (despite being compulsory and stopping squish from
working!).

So anyway Dieter, I've added you to AUST_AVTECH and PUBLIC_DOMAIN, but
thanks to my super-deep messagebases (3 weeks), you have 3 weeks to get
your setup right, then you can use QWK to get the backlog, and then hey
presto, she's working. BFN.

Paul
