I'm glad to read that although I have suspected that the situation in
US isn't as bad as here.

Our 2 meter repeater died more than a month ago and the keyholders have
not even visited the site. I walked up there but couldn't do anything
because the hut and power box were locked. Couldn't even check fuses.

So now I have informed all OH0 hams that I have stopped monitoring the
repeater-in channel and am monitoring a simplex channel instead.

The 70 cm repeater still is going strong at another location.
