Thanks for your thoughtfull reply. I am glad to hear that you have a
successful acquisition system.

I could do a feasibility study by setting the fifo to load only a 
small number of data elements.  But a respectable data rate, say
300hz * 600 bytes = 180000kps would require a hardware upgrade.
