There have been a couple betas (November and 
January) which allow the use of the betas of
Java 1.1..  I think you can find one or both
on Hobbes.  If not, you might try "testcase"
at Boulder (I'm sorry, I don't have the URL
handy)... If you're not interested in Java 1.1,
then I'd give them a pass until all the bugs
are worked out...
