I have a z80-based board that has what it called a "SASI" interface on it. With the right software, that could be a SCSI port. I also remember boxes running OS9 and similar that were using SCSI or SASI drives. (In case people don't remember, SASI was the first incarnation of this setup, but because the first two letters stood for "Shugart Associates" they decided to change the name when they made it a standard). Somewhere out there is probably software to drive that board I have, though I haven't found it yet. I'm not ambitious enough to try and program such a thing, no way, not any more... :-) ---* Origin: TANSTAAFL BBS 717-838-8539 (1:270/615) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 270/615 150/220 379/1 633/267 |
