| subject: | Netmail problems |
Hello Stephen! Patrick and I went over several things on IRC last night and I discovered, much to my dismay, about the seperate netmail area requirements for each network. I have to say that I find that extremely odd, as the other 20+ BBS packages I've tried have never had such a requirement (save for Telegard, which didn't support *.MSG netmail in any way, but that's another story). Is it possible for the idea of having all networks tied to a single netmail area looked at? I know it might involve some major changes, but due to the networking setup I have, it's a real limitation to certain things that I do. Also, another item: multiple AKAs for the same network. I not only run my own network, but am a ZC for a few other networks, so I carry multiple AKAs for the same network for mail purposes. The issue isn't as bad as the above-I can work around only using one address-but it might be something to look into. Unfortunately, I know this isn't your code you wrote, but both of the above are pretty nasty limitations to someone who's a hub like I am for six networks. I want you to know I'm not whining or complaining-just seeing if an inquiry can be made into the above. ;) Thanks, as always, for considering my ideas.
