I told youse that Charlie tippy-toed around to the back
of the tub and fell into my bubblebath?  Well, he did
it again, only this time he wasn't so surprised.  He
stood there, entire back end in the water up to his
second set of nipples and assessed the situation.  He
walked his front end around the tub, pivoting on his
back feet, until he was in a jumping out position, ever
so calmly.  I lifted his butt out of the water and over
the side of the tub and he sat down right there and
began cleaning himself off.  Talk about a cool cat (and
fuzzy bathwater).  He REALLY reminds me of Harry on
THIRD ROCK FROM THE SUN.
OH!  I had a Jenny epiphany this morning.  You know we
got Jenny when she was just 2-weeks old and hand raised
her.  As she was growing up (postSwarm) she would amuse
herself and several times an hour she'd check with me to
make sure everything was right with the world...or so I
assume. I really don't know what roles momcats play
aside from the obvious.  Anyhow, when the Swarm arrived,
Jenny got distant and standoffish, and she suspended
most of her relationship with Lonnie and me...the only
thing she seemed to retain was kneading her woobie
blanket.  :<  Well, for the past couple of weeks she's
been coming to me frequently, demanding lap time and
purring and cuddling like a cat insane.  I just realized
she's back to what she did as a kitten; checking with me
to be sure everything is right with the world.
