Gene,
Anyone that worked for Western Electric when it was known as Western =
Electric and continued on to Lucent has a fully qualified, funded and =
insured pension. Hell most anyone that worked for Western Electric is so =
old that they retired or were ready to retire before 401Ks became the =
norm. The Western Electric name was dropped in 1983 or 1984.
And I took my fully funded pension from Western Electric, aka Lucent, = July 2001.
