Ho, David--
Maybe it depends on how often, and where to, you nag them. On 2/15,
I again reminded devcon{at}vnet.ibm.com that I had previously complained
about the bug in rexxsaa.h, (DevCon 5, special edition) and pointing out
that they had updated the file date for the DevCon 6 version, but there
were no other changes; they hadn't even added a note to the readme file
about the bug. I also pointed out that I had patched the file by adding
the missing APIENTRY symbols in each "else" statement following an
"ifdef __cplusplus" statement in a function prototype. (I didn't tell
them I got the idea from you. Sorry about that, chief!)
Yesterday, (2/21) I received a reply from Laura Wetzel at Boca
(Laura_Wetzel{at}bocaraton.ibm.com) stating, in part: "Thank you for your
comments related to rexxsaa.h. We are looking into the problem."
Who knows; we might see a change by DevCon 7 or the GA version of
CSet++, whichever comes first. Or, we might not.
All the best.
