The warranty is too short for my liking (90 days only), and 4MB 
cache/buffer is small by today's standards.

I think you'll find 36GB Seagate drives with the full 5yr manufacturer's 
warranty on eBay for $100 or so.


I subscribed to the hitechcafe email "bargain" list for quite a while 
but I found the bargains strikingly underwhelming.
