It occurs to me that the way to (hopefully) forestall such an action would be to publicly state that any attempt to invade or use covert agents to 'rescue' those prisoners would result in the immediate execution of those prisoners in their cells. Also the immediate execution of any covert agents apprehended and a denial of Geneva Convention rights to any invading military force. GM> Congress was blustering as it often does.
