    That's great, Meg ....... I've been wondering how you and the "kids" were 
doing.

    He's doing just fine, Meg ...... And, he's finally starting to fill out 
and LOOK like a horse instead of a gangly 'teenager' .  He's almost 15.3 
hands tall now - he's mostly all gray (he's finally loosing that "dirty 
knees/legs" look) ...... he's willing and intellegent -- BUT, he's stubborn 
too at times (that Arab stubborness shows through from time to time 
).

    It'll come, Meg ....... give it time.  I'm finally getting comfortable on 
X (I sure do miss "Baby" though). I'm riding X almost every afternoon for 
15-20 minutes each day.  Most of the time we go over in the round pen but 
sometimes for a treat for BOTH of us we take a ride down the street.  It's a 
nice change and he doesn't seem to mind going by ourselves without another 
horse.
    Last night it was quite windy (almost a "non" riding day if "Baby" were 
still here).  Heck, X didn't seem to mind at all.  Yes, he was a lot more 
cautious but he didn't shy or even really act nervous -- I was so proud of 
him!!
    I've been having a lot of trouble with my back lately - I have to make 
SURE I don't forget to put on my brace now when I ride.  My balance isn't 
that great now either . Pretty soon I'll have to stick to driving 
instead of riding .

    I've been around ........ been busy working -- I quit smoking and now I'm
