Thanks to everyone for their responses; I found that this one seemed the
best.  I've downloaded 1.60 and I'm using that, so far, with no problems. 
And the aforementioned noticeable delay on Telnet is much less noticeable
now.  Thanks!

Now if I could only make my desktop icons in OS/2 Warp 4 stay put between
reboots... But that's a battle for another day.
