subject: Needle Threading

-> You can't imagine the terrific contribution you have made to my
-> sewing. Your hint about threading the needle the opposite way from
-> the way I was used to is a very valuable tip. I was doing ribbon
-> embroidery with beading in it and threading the needle a sI sat next
-> to my husband. I just kept repeating, "It's a miracle." My husband
-> finally gave in and asked what the miracle was. I can't say that he
-> was as excited as I was about the idea, but he liked what brought a
-> smile to my face.
I'm glad it helped. I know that that little tip sure saves me a lot of
time and frustration. I've discovered that I can put size G conso cord
in a size 12 Sharps. Yeah...no more broken necklaces unless I forget to
file the bugle beads. Thats something I learned the hard way. Unless
you are using wire with bugle beads you need to file both ends or you
will probably end up with broken thread. I was really upset when it
happended to me. Fortunately I had made a multi strand necklace so all
I lost were a couple of seed beads and about 12 hours work. I like the
new necklace better anyway.
