   Rain and strong winds in Norway Europe, cold and wintry in Scandinavia,
   fair for the Mediterranean

   Monday
   Another mostly dry and sunny day for Portugal and Spain. Rather cloudy
   but dry for France, the Low Countries, Germany and Poland. Rain for the
   northern parts of the British Isles. Breezy and cloudy with isolated
   showers for Denmark. Snow widespread in Norway, northern Sweden and
   northern Finland. Some showers for the Baltic States. Mostly dry bur
   rather cloudy for Belarus and Ukraine.
   A rather dry and sunny day for Central Europe along the Alps. Bright
   and sunny spells for Austria and Czechia extending southward along the
   Adriatic coast. Cloudier in Romania and Bulgaria, though bright spells
   come and go.
   Sunny for the Balearics, Sardinia, Corsica and Italy. Bright for Greece
   with some rain in east and over Trkiye with snow over high ground.
   Unsettled weather conditions for Cyprus with some heavy rain and
   mountain snow.

   Tuesday
   Good spells of sunshine and dry conditions across Spain and Portugal
   Some heavy showers in the southeast of Spain. Rain too in the
   Balearics. Corsica and Sardinia will be dry and bright. Fair for Italy
   with plenty of sunshine here. Greece will be dry with more sunshine.
   Fine in Turkey, sunshine throughout here.
   Mist and fog across central and southern France at first then fair.
   Breezier in the north with sunny spells. Windy in the Low Countries
   with heavy periods of rain and a risk of gales. Patchy rain in northern
   Germany, windy for the whole country. Breezy Poland, dry with sunny
   spells. Hungary and Austria will be dry with good spells of sunshine,
   Switzerland stays dry with more sunny spells.
   Heavy rain and gales affecting Denmark. Cloud increasing in the Baltic
   States with periods of rain. Chilly for Denmark and dry. Rain affecting
   southern Sweden, some heavy. The rain affects southern Norway to,
   turning to snow. Fair for central and northern Norway with some heavy
   snow showers and cold conditions.

On New Year's Day, periods of rain, especially in the northwest and north
a lot of wind, with a chance of heavy gusts of wind, especially in the coastal provinces, along the coast
possible very heavy gusts of wind. Colder on Thursday, first chance of a (wintry)
shower, but also occasionally sun. From Friday there is a chance of light frost at night
morning. Snow possible on Sunday.
