The city of Omaha is building a brand new convention center.  There was a
recent brouhaha about how many if not most of the workers on the project
were Latino, and were in fact not here legally (the project was, among
other things, supposed to provide construction jobs - it did, but not to
the locals).  After it was pointed out that absent the 'illegal' Latino
labor the center couldn't've been built (at least not for what they
consider a reasonable cost), the politicians shut up.
