| subject: | NAMED PIPE PROBLEMS |
I had to modify the following line:
_beginthread(clientThread, NULL, 0x2000, NULL);
to
_beginthread(clientThread, 0x2000, NULL);
to get this to compile. Then it bombed with the following lines:
Pipe connected
cache size = 73600
message size = 184
Client : Read 0002125c/0 (This is test msg 1 from the server) 184
Client : Read 00021314/1 (This is test msg 2 from the server) 184
.
. many many repetitious lines deleted.
.
Client : Read 0002fe1c/328 (This is test msg 329 from the server) 184
Client : Read 0002fed4/329 (This is test msg 330 from the server) 184
Client: error 234 reading from pipe
rc=234, cb=184, br=116, ad.cbpipe=648, ad.cbmessage=68, state=3
Does this show your error? I am afraid I haven't been following this
thread too closely.
PF>Here's a program that demonstrates the problem I found. I am not expecting a
PF>fix as long as OS/2 has named pipes are implemented in 16bit code.
