United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic..."

*Everybody* that is serving or has served in the military has taken that
oath.  Also the president, veep and members of congress take a very similar
oath.  Not laughable at all.

And, BTW, all children in the public school system "... pledge
allegiance, to the flag, of the United States of America..."

Read that oath again, it says nothing about the laws of the US.
