emx has _endthread

emx has that too, the corresponding flag is -ZC++-comments.

IMHO, emx is a much better choice than gcc/2 (e.g. has better
documentation ...). The gcc/2 headers also may not be perfectly legal.
As I tested it a year ago, I found IBM copyrights sprinkled throughout
the whole package.

For OS/2-specific info you'll have to buy either the Developers
Toolkit or the IBM Online Book Collection on CD.
