Hi Michel, MR> I search (GREPed) all the .H files in the GCC dirs for _beginthread so MR> I could maybe locate the GCC equivalent of _endthread, but it won't MR> even find _beginthread (I even GREPed *ALL* the files just to make MR> sure). Does anyone know what's going on? I got GCC from the Hobbes MR> CD-ROM (not the EMX port, the other one - haven't got the EMX port to MR> run yet...). There doesn't seem to be any OS/2-specific info with the MR> compiler. emx has _endthread MR> P.S. This is not directly OS/2-related, but does anyone know of a GCC MR> switch to make it accept C++-style "//" comments? emx has that too, the corresponding flag is -ZC++-comments. IMHO, emx is a much better choice than gcc/2 (e.g. has better documentation ...). The gcc/2 headers also may not be perfectly legal. As I tested it a year ago, I found IBM copyrights sprinkled throughout the whole package. For OS/2-specific info you'll have to buy either the Developers Toolkit or the IBM Online Book Collection on CD. cu/2 Roland ... I program like a MAN. I use COPY CON PROGRAM.EXE --- Blue Wave/Max v2.12 OS/2 [NR]* Origin: CCWN: Leistung ueberzeugt !!!
