Hello T. 15 May 04 16:41, you wrote to Renato Zambon: Sorry but it does... I do that all the time in xp.... where is your semaphor directory?? It's in fdsetup... mine is in \fd\sema directory .. if your batch file starts like this cd\fd\sema and then echo >> fdfreeze.all it'll work... or U can just do... echo >> \fd\sema\fdfreeze.all I did also see in the bottom example that there was >>> not >> U need to make sure there are >> :) Something else to note. I saw in some other examples that there were some wait statements.... the freezing of the nodes doesn't haoppen right away U have to make sure there is a delay of sorts to give the nodes a chance to go off line. RZ> echo >>> fdfreeze.all TM> Yeah, XP doesn't do that command anymore. Had to make the fake "blank TM> file" to still do that.
