*[Quoting Brian Lingard to Leah Rozhon]
On 15 Aug 97 14:46:15, [About Cdn cellular rates]*
BL> Your corporate plan rate sounds pretty good.
I quoted the old rate. The current one is 12.95/mo with 28 cents prime
and 15 cents non-prime. Still not bad, though.
BL> Our phones are both Motorola flips and ourbatteries and cigarette
BL> lighter cords and chargers are interchangeable. Saves me hauling
BL> a charger with me when I am at his place.
Mine's a Motorola Meteor. Same thing w/o the flip. I like it, but it's
heavy in my purse. The star-tac is appealing in size, but I'm hearing
its performance isn't all that great. My contract with Cell One is up in
February and I'm investigating digital for it's privacy and clarity
features. Any opinion on that?
BL> Corporate rate on Bell Cellular is $25 a month and 25 cents a
BL> minute day or night, you get 25% discount on add on features like
BL> after hours but on corporate rate evening time starts at 8 pm
BL> until 7 am and all day weekend.
Cellular One has stiff competition from Ameritech here and I think that
must be what keeps rates lower. My corporate rate includes call
waiting, call forwarding, voice mail, three party conference calling,
same # ability, and outcall notification. I don't use these features,
but they are there if I want them. Before I renew, I'll check out
Ameritech and see what they offer.
