Don't worry Anthony, I'm not speaking from experience, although a 
cousin of mine went a bit funny when he turned 40 a couple of years 
ago.  Just packed his bags and pissed off, leaving his wife and two 
kids to fend for themselves.  Three months later, he came back.

The "experts" call this mid-life crisis, and as there is no hormonal 
imbalance or change in males which can account for this not uncommon 
behaviour amongst middle-aged men, it is only passingly referred to 
as the male menopause.

In my case, I've always been this way, but I simply piss off to PB 
for a week or two every 3 months or so, sort of like recharging my 
NiCds, I expect.  ;-)
