Are you sure you haven't met my husband yet?  Most of the authors you
mentioned are in his collection. I happen to *LOVE* R. A. H. and
Burroughs. I cut my teeth on Heinlein as a teenager. Asimov is
definitely one of the classic SF writers of our time. Of course you
can't leave out H. G. Wells.  In the horror genre, how about
Lovecraft? Read any of him?
