Have you got a bus mastering controller in an ISA slot (like an Adaptec
1542 SCSI controller) or using a driver that thinks it can only access
the lower 16 MBytes (you can check by looking at the detailed
information page for the adaptors given by the "System Information Tool"
in the setup folder)? This could cause the extra RAM to be only usable
as fast swap space.
