Hi Mitch: I'm not sure you have been in on this discussion
or you wouldn't have asked this question.
Richard and I were talking about the INITIAL control of the
yaw induced by the failed engine, and how many pilots
instinctively try to correct the resultant roll with
aileron, thereby getting into a dangerous cross-control
situation, with all the resultant spoiler drag etc. The yaw
should be jumped on with rudder only (the ball will stay in
the middle, and the HSI heading unchanged) Once the aircraft
is under control and the rudder forces trimmed out, you just
use aileron and everything else as always. I can't imagine
how this presents a problem to you - you must have been
doing it right for years!
