If you can, create the install floppies on the same drive. Would involve a
bit of swapping unfortunately. Also, I have found out recently that most
of my blank floppies are toast - I can't remember the last time I bought a
new one.

This has been a great source of frustration for me in the past, not knowing
whether there was a problem with the CD, the drive, or the install program.
With eCS 1.1 I found eventually that I had a bad CD and made a new copy
from the on-line image file. But you said the Win2k CD would not boot
either...
Good luck!
