It's a pretty amazing little device. You can't add much to it except RAM and an Airport card, but you don't need to. The swivel neck is an amazing bit of technology. There's no monitor power cord to plug in, in fact, there's no video cable at all this way. And the screen is one of the best I've seen. A friend once said he didn't like to watch DVDs on digital screens like this because there were artifacts whenever there was fast movement. No way. It's one of the most impressive displays I've seen for showing films. OS X is a pretty cool OS and Apple has been good with the updates. The Safari browser is elegant and simple and works (it's still in beta but it's fine). I'm really happy with this machine. My only gripe is the same old gripe I've had before--a couple of the applications I need aren't available for the platform. Otherwise I'd gladly ditch my NT box and get another Mac. -- +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ robert b. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-4* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/1.45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/1 633/267 |
