I'm pretty savy to electicity and have none of the real risk
factors here.

 Humidity, clear skies and insulation are the keys. 
 A buried well insulated water resovoir open to the sky at
 night and covered during the day and the fact the open night shy 
 is looking into a mere couple of degrees Kelvin.
 Heat radiates into space, ice forms.
 Living in Florida there's too much humidity to experiment
 but if I lived in Arizona I'd try the experiment.

No dry air here either. I sit between Tampa bay and the Gulf of 
Mexico.
