I agree with that, but I'm not limited to two.
btw, not all front wheel drive cars are good in snow, it depends on how
much power and how much torque steer it has. I drove a Mercury Sable one
time that was the 3rd worst car in snow I've ever driven. (most rear wheel
drive cars come in better than that.)

You sell Subaru's short -- as long as you don't try to stop in a place that
the snow (or mud)is deeper than the car frame, you can get through just
about anything. I've had to drive in extreme conditions just to get to
work -- hence my love of Subaru's. I wont own anything bigger like a 4WD
SUV or pickup. If my Subaru can't get there, I don't have to get there.
I really don't need a Subaru now, no snow here in SC, but I still like the
AWD for fun.
