Calling a macro from the WP command line is the only way to do it;
and the specifics will depend on what needs to be done to clean up
the text. For example, the import has to be DOS text and margins
have to be adjusted (which is probably where you're having trouble).
I think I worked it out once but decided it was too much trouble and
a plain text editor would be more effecient.
Creating a macro's primarily a matter of figuring out what needs to
be done, hitting Ctrl-F10 to start the process, going through all of
the steps, then hitting Ctrl-F10 to end it. You'd then add "/m-[]"
to the WP command line (where the content of [] is the macro name,
which may include the full path to the macro directory); and this
may require use of a batch file.

I don't recall ever finding one either, but I've not spent a lot of
time trying to figure out how to customize BW.

Here again, a macro can expedite the process. A macro is sorta like
a batch file in that a single command causes a whole bunch of things
to be done.
