Don,

I don't think it is the result of processing the config.sys.  It is a
bunch of lines of jumbled text that I can just about read some of but
not quite because it goes by so fast and then stops with the message
that os/2 cannot operate the harddrive.

I don't if it makes a difference or not but the HD is on a built in scsi
and the CD and DVD are both IDE.  The HD is 9GB which was FAT32 that I
formated to hpfs and just left it at on partition.
