Meaning? If I'm 7000 feet away, isn't that under the 12,000 foot limit?
Also, do they tell you what speed you get? DSL reports that Verizon has
kicked up the speed to 128/1500 but a friend I know who has it says he gets
64/628.

Earthlink also offers DSL in Manhattan--and they support Macs and have a
back-up dial-up service as well.
