However it is also true to say there are better and worse quality 
cables. If you are looking at a longer cable, it's better to look for a 
better quality cable to reduce loss. This is more important on USB 2.0 
than 1.1 because of the speed.

The basic statement is however still true, there are no USB 2.0 only or 
USB 1.1 only cables as such, there are just "good" and "not
so good" cables.
