tasting your ear-lobes!
You haven't lived until you've had a lory investigate your ears.
Their natural diet consists of nectar and pollen from deep jungle
flowers. So their tongue has long tastebuds which they can wiggle
somewhat independently of the rest of their tongue, rather like fingers
on a hand. Did I mention that their tongues are about 2" long? When they
stick that thing in an ear and wiggle those tastebuds, it feels like
they are directly licking your brain......
No, I DO NOT have lories...a friend had one I let on a shoulder...ONCE.
