Hi Jonathan, JdBP> Which leaves EMX C++ as the odd one out, with an author who is on JdBP> record as saying that he doesn't intend to WorkFrame-enable his JdBP> product ... JdBP> Not everyone likes command lines, especially non-standard cryptic JdBP> UNIXy ones. The people involved in EMX C++ don't seem to be able to JdBP> grasp this, though. to be fair, you must admit that Eberhard Mattes has done a terrific job at his emx environment! This is a one man show and emx means "E_berhard M_attes eX_tender", because it started out as a 32 bit DOS programming environment. emx is free software and doesnt compete with commercial products. Besides working on emx, he has some other projects too, like emTeX (an impressive TeX implementation for DOS and OS/2) and the porting of GNU EMACS. When he can spare some time developping software, he does research in maths at the University of Stuttgart. BTW, I have to live in 8 MB and am not very fond of thousands of WPS classes and DLLs (although I love the WPS), that eat up memory ;-) cu/2 Roland ... I program like a MAN. I use COPY CON PROGRAM.EXE --- Blue Wave/Max v2.12 OS/2 [NR]* Origin: CCWN: Leistung ueberzeugt !!!
