I have had floppies which would only work in certain floppy drives. Do you
have another drive you can try? Modern floppy drives are cheap, and in my
environment at least, extremely unreliable.
Looking at the manual I found other Bios settings affecting the floppy, you
might want to check:
Boot Menu: Boot Up Floppy Seek [enabled?]
I/O Device Config: Floppy Disk Access Control [r/w?]
On this system the eCS 1.0 CD would not boot, but 1.1 did boot fine from
the Plextor Scsi Cd. I have not tried 1.2 yet, but would be surprised it
would give a problem (LOL). What happens when you try to boot from the eCS
CD?
