I once had a friend who taught beginning theology at a college.  He would ask near
the beginning of the class (his students were all male) their impressions of the
opposite religion, ie, what Catholic boys thought of Protestants and vice versa.
Catholic boys grew up thinking Protestants girls were "faster"
than Catholilc girls, and, of course, Protestant boys grew up thinking
Catholic girls were faster
than Prostestant girls.
