PS~The world health authority has today quarinteed Toronto!  Due to the SARS
  ~impact on its spread.
  ~Thousands of Canadians living in China  returning to Canada via Toronto.
  ~Toronto officials give an angry response to the world health authorities
  ~decision. China is being accused of hiding the truth

PS~Looks like Toronto politians are no better than in China.
  ~I beleive the Toronto response from government officials to be
  ~inappropiate.

There HAD been no new cases of SARS in the public in 19 days
when the World Health Organization placed a quarantine on Toronto.
Yesterday there were 2 new cases. It's not quite gone but in a city
of 3.5 million people does this sound like a runaway epidemic?
The W.H.O. 'quarantined' Toronto for 'exporting the virus'..
At the height of SARS, Canada was suspected of exporting a total
of 4 cases.. none of which generated a single new case at their
destination and only 1 of which has so far been proven to actually
BE SARS... Canada has spent a hundred million dollars trying to
prevent the spread of the desease. I live 160 miles from Toronto
and there have been Zero SARS cases here yet our local hospital is
closed to visitors other than a maximum of one visitor per patient.
(That's one visitor in TOTAL, not one at a time.)
Seems to me like everthing that can be done is being done regardless
of what the media is saying to try to sell papers...
