Clearly, you're far too young to remember the chaos in r.m.b that 
resulted in this moderated group. Conspiracy theorists, fruitcakes and 
the plain stupid overwhelmed what had been a splendid forum for 
discussion.

My first post was in mid-1993 and (according to Google Groups), the bulk 
of my participation was over 6 years ago. I didn't need to read the 
deluded ramblings regarding some of my favourite music, my home town, 
and my native tongue by those who probably couldn't find Liverpool on a 
map (or probably their arse, even given the use of both hands).
