| subject: | Gravel filtering |
Hi, everyone.
After being sick and then busy for over a month, I finally changed out some
of ¨my aquarium's water (about four cups' worth). I added the stress
¨reliever/dechlorinator and algae preventer and then I noticed all the junk
in ¨the water. I bought a simple gravel tube a while ago (stick it in and
it sucks ¨the stuff up by gravity) and I was wondering what was the best
way to use it.
I'm gathering that I put the tube in the aquarium, move it until suction
occurs ¨and because the pail is lower than the aquarium, all the junk
filters out. ¨I've never done it before, so if anyone has any suggestions,
I'd appreciate it. ¨:)
Later,
Sean
P.S. The fish are doing quite well despite their treatment. :) My wife and
I ¨are considering purchasing a 10-gallon aquarium to help them have a
happier and ¨more comfortable living space as they've grown a little bit
and seems a little ¨more crowded in there than before.
