Oh...ummm, we have a freestanding double-door cabinet
in there, they launch themselves from the sink to the
top of the cabinet and nest there.  I don't mind them
up there, the previous bunch did the same thing.  But
the Swarm, in all their inquisitive glory, *noticed*
the ceiling.  They scratch at the tiles, they tear off
hunks, bite it and spit out the pieces on the floor,
pick at it, and eventually pull the tiles down. They've
pulled down 4 tiles so far.  And they expose the attic
insulation thus the hasty improvisation of stapled-up
cardboard.  There are still 5 tiles in their immediate
reach.
They test everything.  Charlie launched himself off the
toilet *seat* (not the tank) to hang from the shower
curtain rod...which is simply a long tension rod held
up with rubber pads on the ends.  I was in there the
first time he did it and plucked him off. The following
time, I wasn't there and cat and rod both came crashing
down.  Charlie is undetered by calamity.  If he ever
manages to land lightly, he can start on a whole new
area of ceiling tile.
