subject: Using the 3.2 editor

Hi Lawrence!
LG> Some like QB's editor; some don't. The price you pay for it is a
LG> slowdown in program execution due to PCODE and increased memory
LG> requirements for the IDE. Zale is not trying to create a QB clone
 LG> with PB.
But it should be possible to enhance the IDE a lot... it's nice to have that
good features PB provides but on the other hand it's not that much fun
working within the IDE as it was with the QB-Ide...
I plan to write some kind of enhanced IDE for PB but that project will have
to wait since I have not that much time I'd like to have for programming...
:-/
LG> Borland used to offer a separate help tsr for Turbo Pascal, C and
LG> TASM. I always thought it was a good idea.
Why not writing it yourself? I think that the format of PBs help files isn't
top secret, so why not asking Bob Zale to leave the documentation for those
files in order to develop such a tsr?
bye, Mike.
