Big bux.

775 is what I'm shopping for now.

Prolly not your speed.

Long long gone

774 Athlon 64

The newest do not support AGP, instead providing PCI Express X16 for
video.

Your need for ISA pretty much rules out avoiding the worst chipsets. The
ones to avoid are essentially those that offer ISA. Most that do not
support ISA are not a problem. BIOS are the more likely problems
nowadays, and these are board specific, having little to do with brands
or boards or BIOS brand. If there's one chipset to avoid, it would
probably be i810, but if you're going to do that, you probably should
also avoid i815 & i820. SiS generally equates to lower cost and lower
performance.

Easy enough. Among Intel chipsets, just avoid those that include a "G".

> No onboard sound

These have become exceedingly rare. Just disable in BIOS if you don't
like it.

Onboard SCSI is pretty rare now, only showing up on really expensive
boards.

> No onboard NIC

Rather uncommon now. Go for known quantities, and do not consider
Marvell. 3Com, Intel, Realtek & Broadcom are usually all OK. Apparently,
Broadcom is furnishing its own drivers for OS/2 on the accompanying CDs.
Chuck's nicpak will point you to the driver you need otherwise if you
don't already know. My last new mobo got my old HD ready to go out of
the box with the Realtek NIC driver already installed. At worst you
could just disable the onboard NIC in the BIOS and use your old one in a
PCI slot.

These are a few I am currently considering for myself, but I've
abandoned ISA:
